A World of Hurt

I try to keep this blog lighthearted.  I want to lift you up not drag you down.

But I have to face the facts.  Life and love is not always lighthearted.

I will spill the concrete facts in time.  Hopefully with humor.

For now I open a small window into my soul and my world.

Thanks to my Golden’s who help me speak.

    • Yes and I know you through your lovely blog. Thanks for your thoughts and yes I know my Golden’s know. I try to mask my pain and be cheery in front of them or you could say they help me push the pain away and look at the brighter side of life. Isn’t that the Golden way?

  8. I’m so sorry to hear you are going through a time of hurt and pain, Jo. Despite it all though, this post is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us. If you let them, I bet those great and gorgeous Goldens will help to heal you pain. Is there anything more comforting than love and hugs from those we hold dear… particularly those with 4 legs who remind us why life is good.
    Our love to you,

  9. Dear Jo,
I found your post beautiful and moving. Pain makes some people bitter, others, like you, glean compassion and wisdom from their pain. I don’t know what is happening in your life, but my heart goes out to you, and I wish you relief and comfort.
    Warmly,

  11. My X, Pat, gave me the best advise ever to pull me through a hard time and that was “count your blessings”. And I learned another one…”manual labor” can change an attitude from dispair to hope…even house cleaning. Glad to finally connect with your beautiful blog.XXOO
