Freedom!

The doors are wide open!

We are alive and free.

We immediately go to Grandma Maisie.

We know she loves us and will teach us about being big dogs. Even when she growls and makes this face.  It’s part of the deal.

We know she is not serious. The risk of getting near her…..

……….is worth it.  She imparts dog knowledge in all of us. We quickly learn how to be destructive.

Dog beds are the fist to go.Rug fringe is pretty interesting too.

How many puppies does it take to ruin an oriental rug?

We don’t care.Only one puppy needed to ruin a dog bed or at least get started on ruining it. Looking cute comes easy.  Just sit and stare.

Before you decide what to ruin next. We learn about dominance.

Some puppies have it, some don’t.

Exploration is the best part of being free.

Without exploration we would never progress.  Not having freedom is a bummer. Because the grass is always greener on the other side.  We are learning about big dogs like Grandma that are not our mother.

We know this is our big sister Fiona.

Because of the dog knowledge we already have.We learn we can be friends with Fiona even though she does not feed us.     Somehow Fiona understands us.

We have no fear of her.

Especially because she does not growl at us like Grandma Maisie Freedom brings dog beds.  We get tired easily especially when we get up on the dog bed.

There is no place like home.

Actually the concrete floor is fine to sleep on too.

As we said we tire easily. We have even learned how to be on the dog bed with Sister Fiona. Fiona feels like a mother to us. Maybe it’s because she wants to be a mother.   She treats all of us the same.

We play with her.

We feel safe with her.

Adios Amigos!

  1. Jo, Have I told you that I think you are amazing ☺️ Seriously I’m so glad you are blogging again. You are so good at it. The pics are just so good. Fiona is great with the pups and I love Grama Maisie teaching them what they need to know.

  2. I’d type something interesting but I’ve melted into a puddle from all the cuteness. My photography skills are nonexistent and your pics are SO amazing but I’m going to take a picture of Ukiah to send you tomorrow. 🙂
